OUR STORY
A one-way ticket and two furballs who changed my life
Ever feel like life has more to offer than alarm, office, weekend, repeat? I'm Alicia from Switzerland, and that exact feeling made me quit my safe job three times: for Vietnam, for Spain and, in 2024, for a one-way ticket to Mexico. No return flight. No plan.
Then, in Mexico, two tiny black furballs found me: Zayan the cat in San Luis Potosí and Lola the dog on the coast of Oaxaca, both only about six weeks old. Since then we've been a team of three.
Every question, mistake and aha moment along the way became The Pet Compass: guides so you can take your pet along instead of leaving them behind.
