☐ Rabies certificate (check entry rules for your destination)
☐ Microchip number + up-to-date contact details
☐ Vet’s phone number + nearest vet at your destination
☐ Recent photo of your pet (in case they get lost)
☐ Travel insurance details (if you have one)
✦ Food & Water
☐ Usual food for the whole trip + 2 extra days
☐ Treats for training and calm moments
☐ Collapsible water and food bowls
☐ Bottle of water for the journey
✦ Travel Gear
☐ Carrier or crate (pet can stand and turn around)
☐ Harness + leash (and a spare)
☐ ID tag with your phone number
☐ Car seat belt clip or travel barrier
✦ Comfort
☐ Favorite blanket that smells like home
☐ Favorite toy
☐ Bed or travel mat
☐ Calming spray or pheromone diffuser (ask your vet)
✦ Hygiene
☐ Poop bags
☐ Travel litter box + litter (for cats)
☐ Paper towels, wet wipes, enzyme cleaner
☐ Brush and towel
✦ First Aid
☐ Regular medication
☐ Tick remover
☐ Bandage, gauze, disinfectant
☐ Flea & tick protection – never use dog products on cats
✦ Before You Leave
☐ Practice with the carrier at home
☐ Light meal 3–4 hours before departure
☐ Long walk or play session before the trip
